About the Windows SmartScreen warning

Because GRBL Server is a new independent application, Windows SmartScreen may show a warning during installation. This is common for new indie Windows applications.

To continue:

  1. Click More info
  2. Click Run anyway

Only download GRBL Server from the official website.

Installation

  1. 1 Run the installer. If SmartScreen appears, follow the steps above.
  2. 2 Launch GRBL Server. A small window will show the address to open in a browser.
  3. 3 Open that address from any device on the same Wi-Fi (phone, tablet, laptop).
  4. 4 Sign in with your GRBL Server account. The desktop app uses this account to validate beta access.
  5. 5 Connect your first machine over USB serial or Wi-Fi WebSocket.
